Our Team

Doctor Gerianne J. Mulanix was raised in Linden and is a proud, second-generation Linden Eagle. She graduated with honors from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After completing a four-year doctorate program at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago she chose to specialize in ocular disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation, completing a year-long residency at the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Kentucky. Dr. Mulanix then qualified to sit for and successfully passed the National Board of Examiners in Optometry exam in Advanced Competency in Medical Optometry. She went on to join a multi-specialty group ophthalmology practice in Michigan focusing on pre- and post-operative cataract and laser vision correction, ocular disease management, emergency eye care, specialty contact lens fits and family eye care. Dr. Mulanix is a member of the Michigan Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.

Now, she is overjoyed to have the opportunity to combine her energy and expertise to serve the patients of her hometown of Linden and beyond as the owner and optometrist at Linden Family Eye Care. When she’s not wearing her white doctor coat, you may find Dr. Mulanix in the vegetable garden or hiking a trail with her husband Bryan, two young children Ezra and Judith and Siberian Husky.

Dr. Allison Davies earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University's Lyman Briggs College, followed by her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. During her training, she completed clinical externships at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, the Duane L. Waters Hospital at the Charles Egeler Correctional Facility in Jackson, and the Eye Institute of West Florida in Largo. These rotations provided comprehensive experience in primary care optometry, ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatric care, and pre- and post-operative management.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Davies enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cheering on Michigan State athletics, and traveling—especially to Walt Disney World.

​​​​​​Stephanie Sproule has been an essential member of the Linden Family Eye Care team since June 2020, recently advancing to the role of Practice Manager. In this capacity, she helps to oversee financial operations, human resources, billing, credentialing, and ensuring the clinic's daily functions run smoothly. Stephanie is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where both patients and staff feel comfortable, listened to, and valued.

Originally from East Tawas, Michigan, Stephanie has made Linden her home for the past 26 years. She has been happily married to her husband Greg for 29 years and is a proud mother to three sons: Brandon (26), Connor (24), and Cameron (21). Stephanie was actively involved in the Linden Community Schools until her youngest son graduated in June 2021.

Outside of her professional life, Stephanie cherishes spending time with friends and family, especially on warm, sunny days at the beach. She also enjoys playing pickleball and exploring Michigan's beautiful biking trails.

Stephanie's unwavering commitment to patient care and satisfaction is evident in her daily efforts to ensure that every visit to Linden Family Eye Care is a pleasant experience. Her dedication to creating a positive atmosphere for both patients and staff makes her an invaluable asset to the clinic and the community it serves.
